Four Seasons
Group Exhibition Prospectus
Theme Four Seasons
Work must relate through imagery or color, to the four seasons; fall, winter, spring and/or summer. Work can either be of one particular season or a combination of two or more. Images can be in any artistic form; realism, abstract, etc.
Specifications
Work must be created by the artist stated on the work.
Images must be appropriate for school age children.
Mediums accepted for submission are 2D art, found art, photography, painting, mixed media, drawing, digital art, ceramic, printmaking, clay, wood, fiber, paper and sculpture; no video, film, installation or performance art.
Size Limitations
Two dimensional works must be no larger than 5 in width or height and three dimensional works should not exceed 5H x 3D, and not have any potentially dangerous or hazardous parts. All two dimensional works must be able to be hung with our hanging system. (work must be wired in the back, holes will not be put into the walls to hang work). Work not ready to be hung, will be returned, without a refund of fees.

Four Seasons Submission Procedure
Artwork Submissions
Submit work for entry by portfolio, email or disc, no original work will be accepted.
Cost of submissions-
Current Sitar Members: Youth: Ages 10 15: Free up to two pieces (parents must sign entry form)
Adults and volunteers: Ages 16 & over: $5 up to two pieces
Non Sitar Member: Youth: Ages 10 15: $5 up to two pieces (parents must sign entry form)
Adult: Ages 16 & over $10 up to three pieces
Submission dates: August 13 - 24, Drop off times: Monday - Friday, 10:00 am 5:00 pm
All work must be accompanied by an entry form and entry fee to be considered. Fees can be collected by credit card over the phone or mailed in with entry form. Submission materials will not be returned unless accompanied by a self addressed, stamped envelope.

Artwork Acceptance
Please note: All work may not be chosen
All work will be reviewed by gallery manager Loretta Thompson
The exhibition will be curated based on the work received. Work will be chosen based on relation to theme, content and presentation.
Artists with work chosen will be notified by Friday August 31st. Work must be delivered to Sitar Arts Center no later than September 12th.
Artists of work not chosen must pick up their submissions or have them mailed. Items will not be returned by mail unless accompanied with a self addressed stamped envelope. Pick up dates: Monday - Friday, 12:00 pm 5:00pm. The last day to pick up submission materials is Friday September 7th.

Exhibition
Chosen works will be on exhibit from September 17 October 26, 2012
Opening Reception
Thursday September 20th at 6:30pm
Artwork pick up: October 29 November 9 10:00 am 5:00 pm
